Because of used XLCPE (Cross-Linked Cellular polyethylene) insulation, despite its compact overall diameter, lower attenuation value is realized. To reach the same attenuation level by regular solid PE insulated coax. cable, its overall diameter has to become more than 30% larger. Also, cross-linking makes this insulation more durable against soldering heat.

All versions have featured MOGAMI flexibility so that they are convenient for handling, and its unique served (spiral) shielding construction and stranded center conductor helps easier wiring and installation.
