The Simply45® S45-B002 Integrated Snagless Strain Relief lock into the RJ45 modular plug so that both the plug and strain relief can be permanently attached to the Simply45® RJ45 modular plug during the crimping cycle.

The S45-B002 strain relief extend the useful life of the RJ45 modular plug termination and should be used with all terminations. It is also Fast and Easy to Use.

The S45-B002 is designed to work with the following Simply45® part numbers: S45-1550, S45-1600/1601: S45-1700/1700P: S45-1100. (For Cat5e Unshielded RJ45 modular plugs S45-1500/1501: S45-1000, please use S45-B001 strain relief.)

Prolongs Life of the Termination. The S45-B002 takes the strain off the terminated plug. When you do not use a strain relief, any contact with the plug or cable puts strain directly on the terminated plug. Over time this could cause one or more of the RJ45 pins to become loose. If a pin becomes loose, it will create electrical resistance. Resistance creates heat. This could then cause performance problems or damage to the device socket.

Narrow Design for Easy Access. S45-B002 strain reliefs are the same width as the RJ45 modular plug. Most common strain relief slide over the RJ45. This makes the terminated connector much wider and difficult to use in multi-port patch panels and devices, causing many installers to forgo using strain relief. The Simply45® S45-B002 strain relief lock into the plug during termination and maintains a very narrow profile, allowing easy access to the plug in tight installations.

Maintains Correct Bend Radius of the Termination. S45-B002 Integrated Strain Relief protect the terminated RJ45 from damage during the life of the link or channel. Maintaining industry standards bend radius is important for maximizing the link/channel performance.

Clear Color S45-B002 strain relief strain reliefs come in a clear color so that it easily works with all of the Simply45® RJ45 modular plugs indicated above.

Snagless Design. S45-B002 strain relief are a snagless design preventing broken latch tabs on the RJ45 modular plugs.

Commercial Rated UL94 V0. Simply45® S45-B002 RJ45 modular plug strain reliefs are UL94 V0 (IEC 60695-11-10) rated for all commercial installations. These strain reliefs are recommended for CMP Plenum, CMR, CM: and LSZH up to B2ca rated LAN cables.
