The overall construction results in good flexibility, and each of the network lines is shielded against external interferences by an overall braided copper mesh shield, plus a foil shield per wire pair (PimF). With 10 Gbit-capable SC-Mercator 4 x CAT.7, up to 4 high-speed ethernet or compatible signals can be transmitted simultaneously.
