Techflexs skill with braided sleeving extends to many materials including metal braid fora variety of applications. Techflex Tinned Copper is perfect for shielding on harnesses and cables. Wire conforms to ASTM-B 33.
High end automotive applications have always used braided metal for secure and efficient grounding applications. The material is also great for hose covering on hot rods and motorcycles.
Cutting Instructions: To prevent fraying when cutting any metal braid, slip the sleeving over theintended application to get an accuratemeasurement, wrap the area to be cut with a couple of turns of tape, mark the cut and remove the sleeving. Use shears or serrated scissors to cut through the tape and sleeving. Don’t remove the tape until the sleeving is installed and you’re ready to terminate the end.
