Tinned Copper Flat Braid For Shielding or Performance

Like the tubular construction of Techflex Flexo Tinned Copper, Tinned Copper Flat provides excellent shielding efficiency and easy radial termination. Both durable and flexible, it can be used to create a low resistance point-to-point ground strap. MFN is suitable for use in wiring applications where no insulation is needed and in ground wire applications.

The braid is also an ideal solution to providing additional shielding to cables in retrofit applications. Tinned copper braided sleeving provides superior attenuation of greater than 60 dB over wide frequencies, ranging from a few kilohertz (kHz) to several gigahertz (gHz). Braided sleeving provides superior flexibility and ease of installation compared to foil wrapped cable. Wire conforms to ASTM-B 33.
